Big Thick Energy acknowledges the First Nation Custodians of the land on which we live, work and play on the land of the Gadigal people of the Eora nation and pay our respects to Elders past, present and ongoing. Australia was and always will be Aboriginal land. We respect their creativity and connection, and knowledge to the land.

We promise to always begin all BTE events with an acknowledgement of country and to book and pay First Nations artists to perform at BTE to ensure representation.

BTE is also committed to ensuring access to First Nations people at all our events and online presence. We provide complimentary tickets to First Nations people. Complimentary tickets can be organised via email. Please email hello@bigthickenergy.com

We are dedicated to supporting and giving back to First Nations people and have organised to make restorative justice payments to ‘Pay the Rent Grassroots’ for every event we hold. There will also be a box at BTE events for the community to contribute to paying the rent. You can also contribute to Pay The Rent through our Pay it Forward page
